The intro talk, Intro to Unix, will be in LGRC A112, while the advanced talk, Linux Rootkits, will be in A104. During the workshops, feel free to move between the two rooms to find the workshop that best fits you! In the Unix workshop, we will cover the Linux fundamentals that serve as the bedrock of many different areas of Computer Science, especially Cybersecurity! We recommend anyone who isn't familiar attend this talk, even if you're on the fence about Cybersecurity! If you plan on attending this talk, please try to set up a Linux VM on your machine if you're not already running Linux. Our presenter, Asritha, will also be presenting this exact talk at the Cybersecurity Conference BSides CT 2025! Knowledge of how Linux works is recommended for the talk, as well as a Linux VM/Environment (with Secure Boot disabled)
